UKUSIZA
Ukusiza is a Zulu word that captures the heart felt desire of Adventure and Beyond to “Reach Out” to underprivileged communities. Through camps, events, partnerships and training, we hope to use our expertise in outdoor pursuits and challenge activities to equip and serve the marginalized and share the Good News about Jesus. Already, Ukusiza has impacted many lives through programs we have  run. To find out more about some of the things we have planned for the future and how you can get involved, please click on the links below.

Equipping the underprivileged – Ukusiza Life-Venture
Ukusiza Life-Venture is a lifeskills training programme structured around a camping expedition to one of South Africa’s many inspiring outdoor environments. Our facilitators work with volunteers from the local community to equip them with skills to lead and mentor their young people and to assist us in sharing important life lessons which relate to the expedition: self-confidence, teamwork, food & nutrition, hygiene, budgeting and planning. Once the training is done we head off into the hills, encouraging the young people to see their everyday situations from a different viewpoint, develop self-esteem and enable them to discuss and confront issues (spiritual, practical, social) affecting them in their lives. This experience, shared with leaders from their own community, will be something the young people will remember for a long time and the relationships developed will become the foundation for a deeper, sustained communication between the young people and the leaders who serve them.If you feel this programme might be just what you need in the communities you serve, please get in touch. Working with the Church
“In these end times God is using not just individual heroes of faith, but one hero called the Church – one united strong force. God has chosen that the wisdom of God will be proclaimed to the powers and principalities and rulers by the Church. We are calling on the Church of Christ to rise up today and take this gospel of the kingdom to the ends of the earth.” – David NdaruhutseThe Church has a job to do, and God has filled us with amazing gifts and talents to carry it out. Here at AnB we have a heart for reaching out and serving the community, but we also realize that ultimately it’s not our job, it’s yours! We want to partner with and equip local churches and ministries to serve their communities with boldness, strength and passion. With this aim, we offer challenge experiences that will help your volunteers to face their fears, your leaders to grow in confidence and your dreamers find the expression of their vision. We can help you in your training programmes, equip your missionaries with some basic field skills or work alongside you in your youth and childrens work.Ukusiza Life-Venture is also an option you may want to consider if you are looking for a way to build a bridge into a particularly needy local community. For more information email paul@anb.co.za

UKUSIZA Fund
Where possible, we would like to give the opportunity for those who cannot afford it to take part in one of our programmes. In order to do this, we rely on donations and have set up the Ukusiza fund with the specific intention of raising money to give deserving children the chance to join us on camp.
If you would like to sponsor a child on an Adventure and Beyond camp, you can do it through PayFast or by payment into our account (for details, click here)
If you work with children who would benefit from our holiday camps but who cannot afford the fees, please contact us to find out how you can apply for support. Email paul@anb.co.za
